Agreco Farm is one of those wedding venues in Crete that can take on beautifully different moods while always keeping its distinctive character. Over the years, I have photographed several celebrations there, each one shaped by a different couple, a different story and a different visual language.
One of the weddings I photographed at Agreco Farm was Zoe and Yanni’s celebration. They planned their destination wedding all the way from Cambodia and booked the venue without seeing it in person first. Their sensitivity, creativity and trust turned the day into something truly personal. The groom’s Greek roots brought everyone to Crete from different corners of the world, and the couple transformed the farm into a romantic Greek wonderland filled with organic rustic details, pastel oranges and pinks, flowers and twinkling lights.
Their ceremony took place in front of the charming pastel chapel, followed by an intimate dinner under the olive trees. Zoe brought so much of herself into the design of the day. She created many of the details by hand, from the stationery and name cards printed on handmade paper from Cambodia to the floral touches and whimsical decorative elements that made the entire celebration feel warm, layered and full of meaning.
Agreco Farm can also become a setting for a more elegant and timeless celebration, as it did for Abigael and George, who came from the USA for their wedding in Crete. Their day felt intimate, refined and beautifully understated, with soft florals, a heartfelt ceremony and a seamless blend of natural Cretan charm and sophisticated design. Against the backdrop of the farm, every detail felt considered yet effortless, proving how versatile and elevated this venue can be.
Kim and Danny, also traveling from the USA, chose Agreco Farm in April, a place deeply connected with their family’s history. Kim, a gifted set decorator, and Danny, a fellow creative spirit, reimagined the farm as a joyful, art-filled haven for their celebration. Together with their incredible creative team, they infused the space with color, warmth and meaning. Their wedding was filled with beautifully styled shades of red, expressive floral work and an atmosphere that felt both artful and full of heart.
