Emma & Hadrien
Dordogne Wedding Photographer – Gorgeous Wedding in Château de la Bourlie in Urval, in south west France.
At the end of May I was very lucky to be a Dordogne wedding photographer in the Château de la Bourlie. This spectacular Château, hidden between the hills, is located in Urval, in the Dordogne region in south west France. Above all, I must admit that I was truly honored to accompany my lovely couple, Emma and Hadrien throughout the whole day. The area is famous for its beautiful nature and wild roses. And as a result we had plenty of these beautiful flowers on the wedding day!
The wedding was planned and coordinated by Laurence Beal from Merry me in France. Meanwhile the vendors were setting up, both the bride and the groom prepared separately near the Château. The peacefulness of the surroundings gave a perfect background for the preparations and the time spent together with the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
The ceremony, dinner and party.
The laic ceremony took place in the garden, between the trees. Emma, Hadrien and their parents invited all the beloved people to celebrate this special day. You could feel how much they support the newlyweds and as a result there were many emotional moments. Emma and Hadrien exchanged their vows and rings. They mentioned all the close and far trips which they had done together. From the way they look at each other, you can see they are meant to be together and it’s a true love.
After that, all the guests congratulated the couple and they moved for the next part of the wedding. The cocktail was in the courtyard of the château. That was the time for chatting, laughing and many group photos. In addition, Emma’s brother Tim de Graaw gave an emotional concert making the time very pleasant. The evening was chilly so we went for dinner inside the château.
